A book telling the story of Ingrid’s life before, during, and after the Second World War, including her upbringing in Germany and later move to Denmark.
The design draws on Bauhaus principles, using a strict grid system to reflect both the visual language of the time and the author’s roots. The typeface New Order was chosen for its contemporary interpretation of the period.
From traditional to bold
Originally designed in 2019 with a more traditional layout, the project was later revisited and reworked into a bolder, more contemporary version.
